Louis came to us after being rescued from a sad car accident when his owner was killed on the way home from a show - while carrying a number of dogs with her. We brought Louis-Louis into our home and he was an instant hit! He is a little bundle or wiggles and kisses that nobody can resist.

Louis was also an impressive show dog in his own right, finishing his own championship after only a brief show career. Louis is our resident mastiff chew toy, rabbit to chase, squeaker and trouble maker. Louis has a knack for riling up all the mastiffs and getting them to chase him en masse....then darting behind the couch or under the coffee table and so he can watch them foam from safety.

Though there were many girl dachshund admirers, Louis is now an "it" instead of a "he". We were forced to take action after this "6 inch tall Casanova" tried to take one too many of our Mastiff girls out on a "date". Now, he is happy to pretend he's a stud and strut his stuff for all of the ladies in his life! He is a treasured, if unusual, part of our family here at Windsong!
