They're not exactly manga scans...the term manga can be so vague sometimes. These were scanned from manga anthologies so they're not from a long running manga series or anything. I wish there was one for Suikoden 2. There's one for Suikoden 3...suikoden 3...(sigh~)

So these are just some short stories that were drawn by different mangakas and put together into the manga anthology. That sounds just like a doujinshi anthology except that these books were published officially by Konami. All together, Konami made 3 of these. The titles are Alliance, Brunch, and Caravelle.

It surprised me to find such a large amount of material on the boys in the 3 books. I had never expected it in Brunch and Caravelle. I got to flip through Alliance in the used bookstore, but I wasn't even thinking of buying it when I first picked it up from the shelf. Well, let's just say these three books are now some of my greatest treasures.

This is the story that gave me the idea of putting Futch, Luc, and Sasuke together in a fic. It's short but it really shows how much interaction can go on between the three.

The first story of the book. Yet again, Luc gets a different personality, a very sensitive one this time. Mangakas keep picturing him in different ways. It's really interesting. This story influenced my design for drawing Luc.

Here's another, but shorter piece, by Yuriko Suda. Really funny and it's translated...if you call my crappy work translations. Yeah you guessed it. Futch is the main character, but the bishounen three are still together!

Here is a very beautifully done manga on Luc and Leknaat. Probably taking place right after the Toran War. I call it beautiful because the artwork is pretty and I *think* the story is very good...*think* because the story was too hard for me to read...-_-;;
