Druzilla Blount who married John Martin

According to the 1850 Effingham Co ILL census, Druzilla Blount/Martin was born in NC about 1790. She was shown as head of household. Druzilla was married to John Martin, who died sometime before Sept. 6, 1847. That was the court date of his estate.

John and Druzilla had these children: Moses born about 1816 TN, Newton born about 1816 TN, Matilda born about 1821 TN, Amanda "Manda" born about 1825 TN, Isaac born about 1828 TN, Weekley, Rufus, and John Martin. All of John and Druzilla's children married Brockett's, children of Thomas I Brockett and Margaret.

There is a John Martin listed in the 1810 Rutherford Co TN census with one male(26-45) one female(16-26). This fits Druzilla's age. Also listed in the 1810 census Rutherford Co TN, was Richard Robinson. Mary Blount, a sister to Druzilla, was married to a Richard Robinson.

John Martin appears in the 1830 Sangamon Co ILL census living five doors down from Redin Blount, who was a brother of Druzilla's. In the 1860 census of Effingham Co ILL, Druzilla is living with her daughter, Matilda, who was married to James Brockett.
