Edinburgh

Edinburgh is one of the greatest cities in the world. It's very clean, the city center is great for walking, lots and lots of history, museums, shopping, great pubs, and friendly people. The only downside is driving and parking. The only way to visit is to find a place to stay with parking, leave your car and take a bus, cab, or your feet. We stayed just south of the city center at the Salisbury Guest House.

One of the nice things about this trip was meeting with our friends who live in the U.K.: Jane, Gordon, and Carole.

Edinburgh Castle from Princes Street. In addition to the Stone of Destiny, the castle also houses the Honors of Scotland (the crown jewels).Historic Scotland Logo
