I now have the south side of my porch tilled up and ready to work with.

Plan A for the corner:

Plan A is now in motion ;)  I found that many of the plants the original plan called for are next to impossible to find in my area.  But with the help of some folks at the nursery,  I was able to pick out plants very similar that will give me the same effect I'm hoping for.

I want to send out a HUGE Thank You to Joe and Theresa Christie in NY for their Wonderful gift.  A Gift Certificate to Country Arbors Nursery, INC.  With that I purchased two Astilbe-Sister Theresa Hosta (two with plumes; back & right photo),  two Bergenia-Erotica (center two hosta) and four Hosta-Gold Standard (outer edge hosta).  My shady-nook garden is going to look great!!!!!   This part of my garden is going to be called "Penny Lane"  after a certain little girl we all know.

Plan B: Along the house

Update on Plan B:  MOON FLOWER is planted and doing great!!

Moon Flower with Cardinal Climbers on each side.

1.  Moon Flower on a trellis.

2. Sage, Pineapple -  Every place I have called has either never heard of this OR can order it for me,  which was fine with me until I heard the cost.  Anyone familiar with this type of sage??  If so,  is there something more common that is easier to get?

3. Pink, Rainbow Loveliness -  I'm going to go with Impatience again to tie in the two areas.

4. Heliotrope Dwarf Marine -  What ever this is,  I'm going to need four of them.  Forgot to ask about this stuff when I was on the phone.

5. Flowering Tobacco; Peace Pipe -  This is my biggest headache.  Everyone I talked to knows of this plant and agrees it makes a wonderful fragrant addition .....  no one carries the seeds, but can order them.

6. Anise Hyssop -  This is a very common plant in the South West (US),  I'm still trying to locate some here.

Both Plans pulled together:

The front of my porch on the south side now has a wonderful "Mister Lincoln" red rose.  This was planted on Memorial Day.
