Same as missile one but more aggressive. The attack carrier has three sections. The right parts are two tetrahedron, the center is the main carrier, the right is a rectangular prism. The carrier alternates uses each side for attacks. The right side parts fold over and shoot missiles, the left side flips a section and aircrafts come out. Shoot the red triangles when the missiles come and shoot the red rectangle when the ships come out. When the arwing has done enough damage to a part it will fall off. When all three parts are down then main section will attack. It will shoot plasma balls at the arwing and when the arwing gets close it will fly to a distance. Shoot the base of it, not the "head" to damage it. |
The crusher consists of two wings with a shield sliding between them in pauses. First the crusher will slide the shield and expose four laser sections. After a while it will rotate again and slide the shield to another section with another four lasers. Keep in mind the crusher may try to crash into you so if it gets too close fire the retro rockets. First blast off the laser sections when exposed by shooting the little flashing red squares. After the eight cannons are removed, the shield will come off and expose the tiny center. The carrier will now shoot plasma balls from the center and missiles from its tips. Damage the carrier by shooting the flashing little circle. Direct hits are not required, anything around it is fine. |
First the Prof. will be in front of you and display a "bye bye" message. You should have opened rapid fire on it already. Next it'll fly away and send fish and birds to crash into the arwing. Shoot them down by dropping to the ground, firing quickly and turning side to side to get a sweeping motion. When all of the animals are destroyed Hangar will come back into range and create three doubles of itself. There will be a pause and they will come crashing into you. Dodge by moving to the extremes of the screen. If you hadn't figured it our yet Hangar doesn't move so fire away. |
Another #$@@#, this looks like a ball with two long arms. The hydra will spin around carefree and spew out plasma balls from its arms. At the same time it will fire four missiles from its body. Dodge as best as you can using retros, rolls, and weaving. Full view of the arwing is recommending. At this point you have to shoot the arms by shooting the little flashing triangles on its hands. This is very dangerous because A) plasma is coming out, B) since the arms are so long they are in you face, C) when some damage is done the hand falls off, D) the arms regrow! Do your best to remove the arms, if one hand is gone move quickly to the other one. This may take awhile since the both hands may go and the arms will regenerate. When the arms are off one arm will grow from the middle until a mace (i.e. spike) ball is grown. Now it will try to spin into you while shooting even more missiles. Dodge by keeping in line of the body, where the arm isn't and move up or down at the last minute and shoot like crazy at the main body. When all the energy is gone move to an extreme left or right for the hydra will come crashing into the center of the screen, then die. |
This looks like two bongo drums which link together. When battle starts pick one and keep shooting at the flashing circle in the center of the machines whenever you have the change. The smasher will first open up, send a few blocks of rock out, and suck you in. Destroy the rocks and fire the retro rockets when you are fully in between the two drums. When they close they will miss you. Gravity will return to normal, the drums rotate and repeat. Sometimes when the drums open they will fire a bunch of rings between them, then fire them at you. Dodge by moving perpendicular to the rings. If there are horizontal move vertical, and vice versus. If you keep hitting the one drum you can destroy the smasher at only half its energy. |
In this battle always be in a rolled state i.e. vertical. The rider will come from the side, pay attention to the arrows for they tell you where to fly. The rider will makes its way in front of you and open its hatch to let out those hover-cycles. Fire away when the hatch is open to damage the rider and the cycles. Now destroy the cycles in order to continue. When they are gone the rider will try to crash into the arwing by weaving towards and away from you. Dodge by following the arrows, timing the waves, and firing retros. Repeat until dead. When dead be alert for the rider will crash into the wall (right side) and stop, possibly crashing into the arwing if you are close. |
Andross now is a scary cube with pyramids on two sides of the cube. His attack is to form a face and spit out spinning blocks, weave moderately to dodge. After a time the face will inhale everything. Don't worry, the arwing won't go in. After it will spit out a whole #$$@# load of blocks. Weave accurately to avoid them. Areas in front of the eyes seem to have the least congestion. To beat him blast out both eyes. When both eyes are destroyed (red), the face will break apart and the cube will fly toward the arwing. Shoot the pyramids untill they change color. Damage the cube enough and Andross is destroyed. If you didn't inflict enough, the face will reform and you have to remove it again to get to the cube. |
