The gap is connected to severl rivers, goblin tunnels, Naga tunnels, and bridges go over it. Theres 3 bridges over the gap... The invisible bridge, which leads back and forth to the good magicains castle... The Main bridge, which is a regular bridge, except for the fact that the gap dragon guards it. And the One-waybridge, if you try to walk it backwards, youll fall as if theres nothing there. I find that very intresting.

The gap had a forget spell on it, Dor put it on during the time in the past (book 3: Castle Roogna) and his father Bink took it off 800 years later, during the time of no magic (book 2: The Source Of Magic) The forget spell made everyone forget the gap, so noone remembered the gap, the dragon, the bridges... Except the people of the gap village, which grew immune to it over time. So untill the time of no magic, all maps didnt have the gap on them. Now, there has been many aventures with the gap, and more to come hopfully.
