Our camp has many seasons of Burningman and other like events under our belts. Every person knows that they are responsible for their own impact, and also that they must contribute to the overall camp appearance. Morning and evening LNT patrols account for wind-blown trash that makes it over our perimeter fence or is dropped by our guests.
Our kitchen and bar pre-sort their trash, with recycling the main goal. Burnables are collected and burned each day, and only that which cannot be recycled or burned is accumulated for hauling out to Boise to our landfill. Our grey water is collected and evaporated in a dedicated pond.
