Aging

National Center on Women and Aging
This organization's national focal point is issues related to older women. It promotes expanding knowledge on older women's issues, prevention of violence, education and empowerment of older women, and promoting greater understanding of older women's issues. It conducts research, provides policy analysis, and provides training and technical assistance to aging networks and older women's organizations. It also provides internet links to hundreds for older people to connect to older persons and disability networks.

National Institute on Aging
This organization started as a federal effort to do aging research. The organization wants to improve the health and well being of older Americans through research and dissemination of information. It is part of the National Institute of Health and the website provides news, health information, research, and links to other organizations that offer help to older Americans.

This website provides thousands of links to caregivers, providers, and advisors to frail elderly as well as information for older people on health, finances, the legal system, housing, and aging.

An organization that provides information to older persons and their families, researchers, doctors, and other professionals on things like statistics on older people, caregiver websites, internet links, elder abuse, health, international activities, and an eldercare locator.
