As
stated in the journal guideline, plagiarism is any form is
not acceptable. Plagiarism does not only constitute presenting
someone else’s work as your own but it also constitutes blatant
mishandling of other people’s work or ideas. Using, quoting,
or paraphrasing someone else’s work, words or ideas as your
own without citing the proper sources constitute plagiarism.
If you are unsure or the proper way to cite sources or whether
the word/ideas that you used should be cited, please consult
with your facilitators or the various writing resources available
online or around campus. Students who are found guilty of
plagiarism or are suspected to have plagiarized will be reported
to the faculty advisor immediately. Those who are found guilty
will receive a failure for the course and his/her case will
be brought up to the Academic Board which can result in a
disciplinary action being taken upon him/her or an expulsion
from the university.
