Age Groups

We cater for boys and girls from age 5-16 in mixed teams.

The Club is affiliated with the Bayside Easts and Redlands Cricket Association (BEARS) and Eastern District Junior Cricket Association. We have approximately registered 150no junior players with 12 teams in age divisions from Under 10 through to Under 16.

Teams in the Under 10 and 12 age groups play within the local area as a part of the Eastern Districts Junior Cricket Association while Under 13 to Under 16 teams play in the BEARS competition.

For cricketers younger than 9 years of age we conduct a Kanga "Have-A-Go" cricket centre. Refer below.

Cricket Rules have been modified in all age groups to provide an environment where participation and enjoyment are the primary objectives.

Certified coaching staff ensure that our junior cricketers are able to learn and develop their skills under the watchful eye of accredited coaching staff.

Kanga "Have - A - Go"

A great way for new young cricketers to learn the skills of the game as well as have lots of fun.

"Have - A - Go" cricket is non-competitive and equally suited to boys and girls.

"Have - A - Go" is held on Friday nights at our Boundary Street ground from 6-8pm and each 2hr session is split in half.

The first hour emphasizes the teaching of special drills so the kids individually learn how to throw, bowl, catch, bat, run between the wickets etc. These basic skills are then practiced in a game with modified rules and provides a basic introduction to team cricket.
