Info: Episode 79 - Power of The Spirit
Intro worded exactly as it was spoken, from the narrator. Actually not
exactly... noticed the correct spelling of Gokou... Or rather,
my prefered spelling, hehe. >=) I know, not the
greatest intro for this episode... Even though I could come up with better
intros. Eh.. That's the dub for ya. ~_^
Intro: Last time on Dragonball Z. Frieza spoiled
the surprise when he noticed Gokou's secret weapon.. The Spirit Bomb!
Of course, Frieza didn't let Gokou have the upper hand, stopping the spirit
bomb dead in its track! And as Frieza well know, the best way to solve a
problem is to go directly to the source... Bad news for Gokou! But what's
this? Piccolo came charging to the rescue!!! What a hit! Now can Piccolo
stall Frieza long enough for Gokou to complete his spirit bomb? Stay tune
and find out!
Gokou continues to gather energy for his Spirit Bomb,
while Piccolo stands guard for him. They both keeps a close eye on Frieza,
checking to see if he'll try and stop them.
"Where did he come from!" Frieza says, his eyes wide open. "I thought
I rid myself of all the Namek a long time ago!"
Krillin and Gohan looks on, not too happy with the situation they have at hand.
"C'mon Gokou... You've got to hurry!" Piccolo urge Gokou. "How long untill your spirit
bomb is ready? It looks like Frieza's about to attack again!"
"No!... Not yet. I need a little more time, Piccolo!"
Piccolo watches Frieza, to see if he'll make a move. "Ah! Throw it Goku! Throw it!"
"No! I can't! It's not strong enough to defeat him yet!" Goku
ignores Piccolo warnings and continues to gather energy. Energy is collected from the ocean, the fishes, the trees,
plants, animals, as well as the rest of the galaxy. Piccolo can't stand the wait, and decides to go up and confront Frieza himself.
"Look what we've got here..." Frieza says, grinning. "The
last pathetic Namek!"
Piccolo gets in a fighting stance. "Wanna piece of me? Well come
and get it!.. If you can!"
Gohan starts to get nervous. "Piccolo..."
"What's he trying to do?" Krillin says. "He can't win..."
"What!"
Krillin starts to sweat. "He must be trying to stall Frieza, while Gokou powers up the spirit bomb..." Gohan looks at Krillin, nervously.
"I got a bad feeling about this Gohan... As powerful as Frieza is, Piccolo is just making his death wish." Krillin looks over to Gohan.
"No, Piccolo!" Gohan shouts, as he starts to head toward them.
"Gohan Wait!" Krillin says.
Gohan turns and looks back at Krillin. "Huh?"
Krillin nods his head. Gohan stops in the air. They both looks on. "Gokou... Please hurry..." Says Krillin.
Piccolo starts motioning his attack, by sticking out both of his arms. Frieza stands there with his arms crossed, a grin spread acrossed his face.
Piccolo charges up his ki, and extends both his arms forward, to release a energy ball at Frieza. The ball hits Frieza, but breaks up into pieces immediately.
Frieza remains unscathe.
"Ouch," says Frieza, "That almost tickled..."
Piccolo growls, and starts releasing repeated ki blasts at Frieza. The blasts seem
to have all hit, as a huge smoke is created around the area where Frieza stood.
Piccolo extends his left arm, his palm pointing out. He holds his arm with his right arm, and releases a ki beam directly towards
the huge cloud of smoke. The beam hits something, following with a loud boom. Piccolo kneels over, and tries to catch his
breath as he watches the smoke clear. "Huh?!"
In the distance he could see Frieza still standing. His arms are still cross, but his arogant grin is not there. He seems to be a bit scratch up. Frieza looks at him, and fades away.
Frieza then appears behind Piccolo and grabs his right shoulder with his left hand. Frieza begins to squeeze his shoulder, and Piccolo screams from the pain.
Frieza starts to chuckle. "You know there's nothing more annoying than a screaming namek." Frieza turns Piccolo and knees him. This makes Piccolo kneel over his knee. Frieza then hits Piccolo with a shot of his elbow to Piccolo's back.
Frieza looks down on him, "There see, that sounds better."
Piccolo slowly looks forward. "Gokou... I'm sorry, I can't hold him off any longer. You got to do something, soon..."
Gokou looks at him. 'I'm trying Piccolo!' Gokou said telepathically.
King Kai is watching the whole thing. "Oh no, no! Piccolo..."
The others are busy with their new guests, the Ginyu Force. They stand across each others, none of them making their first move of attacking. Members of the Ginyu Force, chuckles.
Chaozu gasps, surprised. Yamcha looks at them and remarks, "They're disgusting!"
"Yeah, but remember what they did to Vegeta?" Tenshinhan (Tien) reminds them. "They may look stupid, but they're tough!"
Guldo then starts to revolve his eyes. At the sight of this, Chaozu gulps. "That that!" Jeice says as he shoots a small ki beam from his fingertips. The beam miss them, as they fades out of sight.
The Ginyu force then starts to fade also. They starts to move throughout King Kai's planet.
Yamcha tries to fend off Recoome's attacks, but he eventually gets blown away from one of his punches. Tenshinhan is trying to awoid blasts from Jeice and Burter, while Chaozu is running away from Guldo and his blasts.
Guldo laughs maniacally with delight. "Help! Someone help me! Yamcha.. Tien! He's gaining on me!" Chaozu shouts, as he runs and dodges Guldo's attacks.
Yamcha and Tien can't help Chaozu because they are too busy fending off the other members of the Ginyu Force. King Kai looks on. Just then, Chaozu is knocked to the foot of King Kai from one of Guldo's attack.
King Kai picks Chaozu up by his left hand. "You can't give up... These goofs, aren't that tough!"
Chaozu looks at King Kai and says, "B-But King Kai it's three against four."
While fending off Recoome's blows, Yamcha remarks, "These guys are awesome fighters! King Kai... Give us a break here!" Recoome brings back his right fist and brings it toward Yamcha's face. Yamcha blocks the attack by holding it with his palms.
Tenshinhan backs off as Burter and Jeice starts to fly toward him, laughing. "Ah, this doesn't look good..." Just then, Jeice gets knocked away by Tenshinhan's right arm. Jeice flies through the air
and hits King Kai's little house. Burter looks back, with a surprise look on his face. Tenshinhan looks at them, and smiles. "Wait a sec... Hey! These clowns aren't as tough as we thought!"
Yamcha then tosses Recoome right into the ground. Recoome is planted in the ground, his legs only showing. "Hey you're right!" Yamcha smiled. "We can beat these guys!"
"But here goes nothing..." Chaozu says as he stops running. He turns back, dodge Guldo's blast and flies through the air, head first. His head hits the chest of Guldo, knocking him down a hill. Guldo rolls right down, and into Recoome's 'half' body.
Tenshinhan looks back at Chaozu, "You see Chaozu, if you put your mind to something, you can always come up on top!"
"Yeah, but you have to admit that all the stuff King Kai taught us, really came in handy." Yamcha tells Tenshinhan.
Jeice and Burter stops near Recoome. Guldo is already up. The three examine Recoome in the ground. "Hmm," says Burter, "I think they did a number on Recoome."
Jeice remarks, "Well, I say we pull him out of here and give him a proper burial!" Burter and Jeice begins to grab Recoome's feet, while Guldo is pulling his thighs. Recoome pops up the hole shaking his head of the dust, and says, "That nap was sure refreshing!" Recoome flies out the hole, and
flips in the air many times. He then lands right between Burter and Jeice. "And now it's time for the Ginyu Force to show you, what we're really made of!" Recoomes poses and shouts, "A-Attack!" As the rest scrambles. Recoome flies through the air, and head butts Yamcha. The force of the blow flies Yamcha through the air.
Yamcha back hand springs off the ground, and chop Recoome right in the chest.
Tenshinhan backflips around the place, and lands on King Kai's house. Jeice and Burter stops in front of it. "Burter!" Jeice says as he turns to Burter. "Ginyu force prepare... the hurricane attack!"
Burter happily agrees, "No one can survive the force of the hurricane!" Then they both charge towards Tenshinhan. Tenshinhan stops, and splits in two. One of him is fighting Jeice, while the other is facing Burter.
Chaozu is still a bit scared of Guldo, as he backs away against a tree. Guldo screams at Chaozu. "That's it," says Chaozu. He can't stand him anymore. Chaozu flies through the air
and hits Guldo on the chest once again. The rest of the guys continue to fight. King Kai doesn't look on anymore. 'Gokou I implore you! We need your spirit bomb!'
Back on Earth, Gokou is putting the finishing touch to his bomb. Piccolo is still trying to hold of Frieza. Piccolo tries to hammers Frieza head in, but he dodges it. Frieza apepars behind him and backflips, slapping him with his tail.
While Piccolo is flying through toward the ground, Frieza fades and appears below Piccolo. He the punch and kicks Piccolo's face. He then elbow his face and slap away Piccolo with his foot. Piccolo flies towards
the ground, and lands near Gokou. Piccolo struggles to get up, but can't. "That's it Gokou... It's up to you to finish Frieza!"
Gokou looks at his fallen friend. "I'm almost done!" He looks at the size of his Genki Dama. "And Then I'll defeat Frieza once and for all!"
Frieza flies down, and lands near Piccolo. Gokou eyes him. Frieza looks at Piccolo, then at Gokou. "So as not to be rude.. I'll finish with you first!" Frieza points his finger on Piccolo, and laughs. A grin spread across his face.
Just then two blasts him him from his sides. A huge cloud of smoke starts to surround them. As the smoke clears, Frieza is seen in a blocking position. He looks around. Piccolo stikcs
his head up, and looks at Gohan and Krillin. He could see that they were the ones to shoot the blasts. "Way to go!" Piccolo begins to smile. "And I didn't think you guys had any power left!"
Frieza looks at them, holding out their palms. "Hmph. I forgot about those other insignificant little bugs.." Frieza began to chuckle. "No matter, I'll crush them, when I'm finish with these two weaklings!" Frieza clenches his right fist, and bloods starts to come out. He starts to laugh, as a vein pops out from his forehead. "The end is at hand! You and
this entire planet will be reduce into nothing but dust!" He forms a black energy ball, and flies upwards. Gokou looks on, nervously. Piccolo gets up and walks to Gokou. "Gokou... Is it ready?" Gokou starts to sweat, and doesn't answer.
Energy from space, starts to head toward Namek, as the bomb is getting bigger. "Yes! It's complete!" Gokou says. Frieza starts to fky near the bomb. "Come on!" Piccolo urges him. "Do it!"
"Daddy!" Gohan shouts.
Gokou lowers down his arms and the Genki Dama starts to fly towards Frieza. Frieza looks vack, and is terrified of what he sees.
"Hit the dirt!" Piccolo tells them. They all drop to the ground.
Frieza looks at the huge ball of energy and tries to hold it off. "No! That's impossible!"
Frieza holds the ball off for a while, but it slowly overcomes him. "I can't control it.. It's too powerful!" Frieza screams in horror, as the ball takes him as it hit the planet. The force of the explosion, knocks everyone through the air, including Bulma and Captian Ginyu (a frog).
King Kai's antennaes' start to shake a bit. "Hmm? I'm getting something..." Everyone stops fighting and looks at him. "It finally happen.. Gokou has defeated Frieza! Woo hoo! Frieza's been defeated, Gokou has defeated Frieza!" King Kai continues to laugh with joy, shouting. (a li'l giddy aren't we? -_-)
"Man I knew he'd do it," says Tenshinhan. Jeice looks at Burter, "You think the old coot is telling the truth?"
"I say he's nuts!"
"Impossible!" Shouts Recoome.
Chaozu lifts his hands up, and shouts, "Hoo-ray for Gokou!"
Tenshinhan nods, and says, "I second that Chaozu." Yamcha then says, "I'd knew he'd win!"
Krillin starts to get out of the water onto a small piece of land. There is now a huge gap in the planet, and it's sucking in the water of the ocean.
Gohan spots him, and says, "Hey Krillin. Gohan flies to him.
"Thank goodness you're safe" Krillin tells him.
"You too" Gohan says as he helped him up. They just stand there, examining the area.
"So Krillin do you think that Frieza survived?"
"Hope not"
"Where's Piccolo..." Gohan starts. "And where's my dad?" They could not see Gokou, Frieza, or Piccolo. They continue to stand there, as waves of water splashes on them.
