Stats + Gallery .You'd never guess that such a cheerful, happy anthro with such an unbreakable spirit had such a painful past; and you'd never guess that the naiive, childlike girl could possibly put it behind her. Hikaru had been endowed with a gift, or a curse : the ability to generate electricity using only her brain. Electrokinesis. She grew up in a beautiful little village between two rolling, grassy hills -- the kind of place where everyone knew eachother. The kind of place where people lived in wooden cottages. And, unskilled as her parents were in such arts, Hikaru's powers were never harnessed -- in the end, she did something aweful. At the age of seven, when attempting to electrocute a rock for experimental purposes, Hikaru lost controll -- she started a massive electrical fire. Her home town was burned to the ground: Survivors, 0. Dumbfounded at what she'd done, and carrying the weight of fifty dead people, Hatoko left the beautiful countryside, and went to the city to try to forget her troubles. But she hated the city. And the fact remained that she'd killed all those people .. .. Hikaru wasn't the type to stew in grief, though. She tried to put it behind her -- indeed, the girl's cheeriness gave her a quality of maturity that she never could have had otherwise. |
