.+Silence+. . Stats + Gallery ."Born in a time before time".. The phrase would certainly apply to that woman o'er yonder, at the bar, braving entire bottles of vodka. It took twenty to get her drunk, these days.. One would wonder how she came to have such an alcohoul tollerance. Or perhaps they would wonder why she was getting drunk in the first place. Either way, the was, although indirectly, the result of one thing: old age. But she didn't look old! No, she didn't look old.. she looked about twenty-three. Little would onlookers know that the woman behind the long, blackish-purple hair, and the bright silver eyes set in her pale, pale face was around six-billion and twenty-five. . . And the years had been full of hardships and pain. Back home, in Hell, she had been the second child of an elven mother and a demon father. Sadly, her mother died shortly after childbirth -- and her father consequentially lost all interest in everything but other women. Her elder brother, Thomas, was left to care for her. Sadly, Thomas would be killed by a seizure soon, and Silence would be left to raise herself. But Silence's past, beyond that, remains untold. She refuses to tell it to anyone. Although this wasn't true once. Back in the days when her husband was there. What, she had a husband?! .. Yes, Silence was once happily married with an adopted daughter. But her husband was a bit of a prude. They never consummated their marriage, despite Silence's hints -- she was rather confused at his lack of desire for her. And she would be even more confused when he left. Or, rather, when he died?.. She didn't know. He'd just .. disappeared. And later, she'd find that her beloved daughter Aeris had been raped and murdered on the way home from school. Perhaps this bitter tale would serve as reason enough for her drinking .. but wait ! Perhaps it was for celebratory purposes ? It seemed that Silence had recently been reunited with her husband, who apologized to the point of tears for leaving Silence. They promptly consummated their marriage, and have been living happily ever since. |
