Admiral model 5J2. I call this radio the "Black Beauty." Unfortunately, this set presently doesn't sound as good as it looks.
It worked great the first two or three hours I used it, then the radio's volume started fluctuating between loud and soft, and soon I could hear nothing but static. Since all the tubes tested good, I suspect a bad capacitor. The set is presently waiting to be repaired by Don at Telerad II (the CB Shop at the Flying J in Ogden, Utah--another shameless plug). Another old radio saved from the junk pile!
