Notes:
General Electric model 914-D. This clock radio is similar to the GE 415-C set I have, but the numbers on the clock face are Roman numerals rather than the Arabic numerals on the 415-C's clock. This set also features GE's dial beam tuning, a quaint 1950's gimmick. I dunno, I guess GE thought the dial light that followed the pointer made it easier to change stations in a darkened room. The dial light serves a dual purpose: it goes dim when the radio is first turned on, and then gets bright when the set's tubes are warmed up.
