Balsa 2000

I released a CD produced for Turismo Balsa Ltda., an important Bolivian travel and tourism company in 1999 (which, by the way, I recomend if you ever come this way) balsa@megalink

It contains over 1.250 pictures, videoclips, sound clips, a virtual 3D representation. The texts are both in Spanish and English, and it is compatible with PC and Mac computers.

Many of these characteristics are firsts for multimedia produced in Bolivia.

Here are 7 internet-quality photographs, just as an example.

Llamas in the Altiplano. Beyond is the Illimani

Kantuta flowers in the Pilkocayna/Sun Island Inca-culture ruins

Coin stamping machinery, XVI century

Colorful textiles for sale to tourists, La Paz city

Boys' smiles, Tarabuco, Chuquisaca

Natives' smiles, Tarabuco. For several cultural reasons natives in Bolivia don't like to have their pictures taken. It is even harder to get them to smile. No need to tell here how I convince them.

A crane in the tropical jungle near Rurrenabaque

By the way, the primary purpose of these web pages is to get me a job, but if you just want this CD, it costs US$ 20.-. E-mail me.
