PRANAYAMA is translated to 'Breath control' or 'control of the life force'. Entire books have been written on Pranayama, but there are many warnings about taking up deep practice. Our practice is very simple and safe...

After doing your Sun Salutations, sit erect in the place you've choosen for you daily meditation.

Slowly take ten deep breaths:

• Inhale fully into the belly and chest.
• Hold the air in for a moment.
• Exhale completely from chest to belly.
• Hold the air out for a moment.

That's the whole practice.

After a couple of weeks you may very slowly extend each of the four steps.
