~ The NEW Videos from the White Lotus Foundation ~

Total Yoga: The Flow Series.

The series consists of three videos: Earth (beginner), Water (Intermediate), and Fire (Advanced).

These are the most beautiful, well designed Yoga Videos I've ever seen. Whether you are brand new to Vinyasa style yoga or want to work up a sweat, these videos are the best.

I really only have one complaint with this series. They are only available on VHS. Hopefully, a DVD version will show up.

Water Version

The Water Video is the absolute best video for beginners to Flow (Vinayasa, Power, Ashtanga) style yoga practices. If you are really new to Yoga, it is important to take some classes with a QUALIFIED teacher.

Earth Version

During the Winter season, this is my favorite video. Like the Earth video it is only 45 minutes long, but takes just enough work to feel good. As Spring and Summer appoach, I prefer to work up a sweat.

Fire Version

Want to work up a sweat? This video is longer than the other two and includes vinyasa all the way through, so you purify yourself with all the internal heat you create. Great for experienced practicioners.

~ More Great Videos ~

Rodney Yee's Stamina Version of Power Yoga is an excellent introduction to Vinyasa (Sun Salutations). This is the tape I got my Mom hooked on.
***Now there is a Power Yoga DVD that includes all three versions. I don't think much of the other two versions, but DVD is great for rewinding.
This is the most "balanced" yoga practice I've ever seen on video. The production is not as polished as the other two videos, but its completeness is very valueable.
I call it Intermediate, but many consider it beginners level. tracey Rich and Ganga White are extremely qualified teachers.
David Swenson has made several wonderful Ashtanga videos. His short forms video (shown) is great for those new to Ashtanga and those of us that don't want to spend 90 minutes practicing every day. This video is generally advanced, but he offers variations for new students.
