And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it became very good. Gen:1:28-30

Map Small Wide
Map from Dayton, TN west on Hwy30 for 18 miles to Pikeville

Slow to 45-55 mph through the curves, through downtown Chattanooga. Driving across the Tennessee River on 27N, you will be headed toward Dayton via Soddy Daisy; two towns that decided to merge keeping the combined name.

Travel northeast into the Sequatchie Valley for a half hour. As you enter Dayton stay on 27N driving past the Walmart and McDonald's Restaurant on your right. Get in the left lane and at the third light and turn left on Hwy 30W. Follow the signs through the middle of town until the road begins climbing and you see a sign "Cherokee Indian Trail of Tears". You are now 15 miles from HavenRest Farm. And no more road changes until you turn into the farm.

As you drive down off the highest point fo Hwy 30W the 2-lane scenic road will wind down into the Sequatchie Valley. On the way down you will see the valley open up as you view it on the right. About half way as the road curves out to the right and rounds Dayton Mountain, you can see the J.O.Y. field, barn roof and further to the right HavenRest Farm.

At the bottom of the mountain the road widen to 3 lanes, passes the entry to a granite quarry and then passes the back edge of Havenrest farm on the right and the east end of J.O.Y. Ranch on the left.

A yellow house corners the first road to the right, Coopers Lane. You are already in front of the farm.

Turn right on Cooper Lane and drive to the first drive on the right. It's only 1/4 mile from the highway. Again turn right and go past the blue and white house and through the entry gate. You are entering in through an apple arbor planted years ago by the original farm owners. Drive slowly, you may encounter cattle ahead.

Pass through the red barns and up the drive until you arrive at the main farmhouse.

Park your vehicle next to the Red Barn and come on in! Welcome to HavenRest Farm
