One evening my oldest son saw a picture of Dale Earnhardt's car in the newspaper and he told me that "I don't care where that car is daddy, I want to see it! So on a Monday evening after work I took them for a 40 minute car ride. Here's what they saw!!
This is a side view of the car. The
crew member that was present told us that this was a backup car and explained to my oldest son EJ
that one way to tell if a show car is an actual racer is to look at the car where they put the gas in.
When we arrived at
the car dealership where the car was at the boys had fallen asleep. They were both VERY cranky and
did not want to have their picture taken. I would like to thank the crew member who was very patient
with two cranky little boys. HE and I explained to my oldest that he might never get this close to Dale's
car again and he should take a picture of himself with it if he was a fan. Well, here they
are!!
This is a photo of the truck that carried the car into town. The boys took a little tour of it and enjoyed it very much. Of all the touring trailers I've ever seen this was most impressive!!
