This regal old doe was in the herd of Nubians we bought to get started.
We called her "Grandma" because her coat was frosted with gray. She was
a sweet, gentle soul who taught us to love goats; her patience was
endless and her nature very forgiving. She is missed...

Lemon died because I could not get our vet to come out and help her....When I told my husband the next morning she was dead....he hung on the fence and cried....it was the first and only time he ever has said...."let's get rid of the goats"....broke my heart and his too.....thank god she crossed over the rainbow bridge.' You were my very first Permanent Champion. My first bottle baby. You
were my pride and joy. Everywhere you went you left them in awe of your
beauty. You tried so hard to feed those babies but your legs would'nt
hold you up anymore. When I looked into your eyes I knew there was
nothing more I could do for you. I think of you often and do a double
take when ever I see your daughter standing there, an exact replica of
you. You were a champion and you gave me a champion. You are sadly
missed.
