Wanted Dead Or Alive

Every once in a while, I still return to the idea of using electric propulsion.  I've done a lot of day dreaming about this idea and have determined that a converted outboard motor might make the best electric drive for my purposes.

Based on some preliminary calculations, my preference is to convert a British Seagull outboard to electric power.  So now the hunt begins:

I'm looking for a British Seagull outboard that is dead as a door nail.  The engine can have a cracked block - or for that matter can even be missing completely.  I want a long shaft model with the 11 inch 5 blade "hydrofan" propeller.  Even if you only have the lower unit with propeller, I'd still be interested.

Update: As of February 2005, and in response to this web page, a suitable British Seagull outboard came knocking on my door looking for a good home - I hope to convert this monster to electric drive in the relatively near future.
