EB.Logo This is a story of the first promotional tour for Elk's Breath .

Not the whole tour of course just the stop at Kentucky Lake and visit with a group of possible investors, well at least sampler's!

The story began for me with early morning visit's to Bass Pro Shop's Fishin Hole Chat .   Some of the folks I chatted with in the fishing hole were Spiker, Dudley, Missybass, Fisher50, John Boy, Jeans, Sonny, Bassen, Spoons, Tooey, Capt.Nemo, Ladyfish, Pikeman, Brad, Queenfish, Lady Di, and Fish4Now(Why is he so hurtful?).   I am sure there were many others but do to either getting senile or EB® sampling I have forgotten them, hopefully a temporary affliction. .

Upon hearing of the Elk's Breath Promotional Tour, Nitro(with Collette's direction I am sure) took it upon himself to organize a gathering of folk's from the "fishin' hole" to meet at Kentucky Lake.   He did a fine job and a good number of folk's were able to attend.

This group came from seven states and two countries.   The mode of transportation to arrive at the gathering was varied.   The CEO of ELK's Breath (Spiker) arrived by way of Plane, Geo, and finally chauffered in by Boat .   Fisher50 and John Boy rode in from Missouri by Mule.   Dudley wandered in by river.   Missybass drove in from PA. by rentalcar.  Sonny and Delight managed to escape from their home on the lake to attend.   Lady Di and her husband(Fishing Instructor)Ralph cruised down from Ohio in this fine rig.   Bigfoot arrived in this?.(not real sure how he got there after he helped me sample the shine and EB).   That is Bigfoot on left in rig pic with Di and Ralph. Bigfoot, Lady Di and Ralph had to rough it here.   Rypper pulled his boat all the way from da bayou to Kentucky Lake.   Kystriperj was permitted to attend by his loving wife as long as he was watched over by Lady Di and her Crew.   CTMJ and Stratos transportation to the event must have been very boring if you go by their expressions.

Activities throughout the weekend were fishing, eating, chatting, and the Lady Di-Rypper challenge to see who caught the largest fish and who would wax the other's boat.   Fish were caught by all.   I somehow managed to catch a striped bass finesse fishing with.   Spiker caught the largest smallmouth bass.   More of Spiker catching, and catching.   Missybass was kind enough to tell us what she was doing to catch more fish than Spiker and I.  Nitro with proof that Ky is the best drum guide in Kentucky.   Need more proof !!!   There may have been a few professional overruns followed immediately by instruction !!  Sonny like any fisherman said he had caught one this big.  I think that Delight has heard this before. The Folk's on the dock all stared in amazement when Rypper drug this bass up to the dock.   Rypper was able to haul in this huge old bass.   Did ANYONE see the fish Lady Di caught???  Guess we will have to take Rypper's word that Di's bass was larger than his.  Team Coonass sure sent a fine representative(think he just wanted this from Lady Di) to Kentucky Lake for waxing challenge.   Spiker was kind enough to give a demonstration on boat waxing on Nitro's boat for Rypper. Yes Lady Di won the big bass contest. Rypper was a good sport and honored his bet. Lady Di also showed what a sports person she was by trying to stay on and "check out" Rypper's good side.

Oh yes there were a few beautiful gal's on the lake. And one layed back fisherman. In the evening the eating and chatting began. The cook had to stop and explain how to get cover off Zebco 202 to a couple novice fisherman. Updates were given to TRAP each night. After the fish fry Rypper was observed contemplating how he wa going to explain loss to Coonass teammates. Fish fry was great Alice. Good company and new friends(Missybass&John Boy)(Delight&CTMJ)(Sonny&CTMJ) made this a great weekend.

If any of this story is not as you recall, I am a Fisherman remember!!! As with all story's related to fishing this one is liable to grow and change.
