Christian Young Women's Retreat 2004
Guest Speaker:Myronie Talento-McKee - "The Amazing (G)Race"
Myronie probably would've been voted "least-likely-to-become-a-pastor" by her high school class. At that age shopping and boys were the top of her priority list. Then God really got a hold of her after her sophomore year at PUC when she went to be a Student Missionary in the Marshall Islands. And then again... (she's pretty stubborn) while traveling after college, on a world trip. She's had some wild adventures since she gave her life to God, including surfing and doing ministry in Hawaii, building a Christian Cafe in Michigan, directing a courtroom drama in Silicon Valley California, and marrying a snowboarder from Colorado. Myronie is now a pastor, is married to a pastor and wouldn't be surprised if she gave birth to a pastor last December when her son Kai was born. She loves how God is full of surprises and how He really truly does know what would bring her the most joy. Which in her case is serving Him and loving and laughing with (and sometimes at) the wonderful people He's brought into her life.Music Provided by:Rika Gemmell & The PUC Reach Ministry Praise Team,
