BUILDING YOUR VERY OWNMASTER TEAM

OK, now that you've ground down the Elite Four and shown Gary not to give up his day job at McDonald's, you'd better start training to make sure no one else gets in your way.
First of all, use the Item Multiplier cheat to make as many Rare Candies, PP ups, HP ups, Proteins, Irons, Carbos, Calciums, Moon Stones, TMs, and Master Balls as you can. Go out and use the Comparison Shop method to find the best Pokémon you can in each type. After you've captured and raised all 151 Pokémon, begin this simple process....
  • Choose a Pokémon you want to train.
  • Use your stat-raising items on it. It should take 10 of each item.
  • Use whatever (multiplied) TMs you want to give the Pokémon new attacks. Use PP Ups to increase the number of attack points each move has.
  • Start pumping out the Rare Candies. SAVE after you reach level 50.
  • When the Pokémon has reached level 100, SAVE AGAIN.
  • Take the Pokémon to the Unknown Dungeon or Seafoam Islands and start battling.
  • When all the Pokémon's attack points are gone, go back to the Cerulean of Fuchsia Pokémon Center and stick the Pokémon in your PC, then withdraw them. They will have gained some stats. The amount of stats they gain depends on how many rounds of 10 attacks you were able to do. When you're done, put the Pokémon back in the PC or in the POKÉMON STADIUM'S PC. It'll be safer from game erasures in there.
  • If you don't want to cheat (or you don't have a Game Shark), simply fight with all your might. Stat-raising items only speed the development of your Pokémon; they don't enhance them. How about that?
  • When a friend offers to battle, take the desired monsters out and put them in your party. LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLLLLLLLE!!!
POWER POKÉMON

Now, you know that types make a HUGE difference in the battle's outcome. There are 7 of the 15 types that the Nintendo Power Magazine recommends, and one type that I recommend. Here's the list of each type and all the Pokémon in them. Mind you, all the types kick butt, just some more than others. Don't just be limited to these types. Water, Grass and Ground types are great, too.
