Now that STADIUM 2 is
out, I thought I should put up some tips for it. Of course,
most of the game is the same as STADIUM I, so refer to
STADIUM
I TIPS for the most
information.
Now, there are some new
features for STADIUM 2:
- There are an extra 100
types of Pokémon to fight with.
- The Pika Cup and Petit Cup
are gone; the Little Cup and Challenge Cup have taken
their place.
- Gym Leader Castle is MUCH
longer.
- After a few tournaments,
you'll be able to use the Game Boy Tower to speed up your
games, like in STADIUM I. Gold and Silver can be sped up
as well by winning the appropriate
tournaments.
- You can store
Pokémon on the 64's database, but you can't remove
Pokémon of a different ID number until 150
Pokémon have been captured on your present game
file.
- Earl's Pokémon
Academy will teach you everything this site has on it and
more. The site may even become obsolete because of this.
Heck, almost no one looks at it anyway.
- Weaknesses have been
changed on some Pokémon. See the New GS Tips
section for more details.
- During Stadium fights,
your Pokémon or the enemy may strike a "weak
point." When that happens, attack damage is
doubled.
- Some attacks will hurt
Pokémon when they DIG or FLY. EARTHQUAKE will
really hurt an underground Pokémon. More on this
later. Also, STOMP's attack power doubles when the enemy
uses MINIMIZE.

ABOUT THE TM
RE-LEARNER
After defeating Lance,
you can have one of your party's Pokémon relearn a
level skill it has forgotten. This doesn't apply to
registered Pokémon. TMs forgotten cannot be
relearned. Smeargle can't keep storing different attacks
until it's learned everything. So, technically, it's not a
TM re-learner, but a level skill re-learner.
Sorry!
