The project had provided an opportunity to explore the nature of inhabitation in the 21st century. The aim of the initiative is to provide young artists with affordable accommodation in the town centre, to encourage the interaction of talented artists in the area and to publicise their work. The existing building was an old building within the town centre. The building has remained vacant for many years and is currently in a state of disrepair.

The scheme provided is to accommodate five live-work units in five individual units. The size of each unit is different to suit the need of five artists: jewellery designer, textile designer, furniture designer, painter, photographer.
