Fusions
There are two basic types of fusions in Dragon Ball Z.. A Namekian Fusion and a Saiyan Fusion.A fusion results in the combining of two people to form a single person. This person is stronger, faster, more powerful, and an all around better fighter.
In a Namek fusion, two Nameks will decide to fuse together. The Namek that fuses into the other will not affect the other Namek's physicla traits, as if seen when Nail fuses into Piccolo. A Namekian fusion will not make the new person a new person really.. Piccolo remained Piccolo, and he did not become cocky like in a Saiyan Fusion.
In a Saiyan Fusion, the saiyans must either do an earring fusion or a dance fusion.
Dance Fusion :
This is a special dance which the two potential fusers will execute in order to have a successful fusion. This fusion will last for 30 minutes, and then the two individuals will unfuse. The unfused people will not be at full strength, and will need some rest in order to execute another fusion. It is impossible to unfuse in the first 30 minutes, and if the dance is done inccorectly the result is BAD. The result will be a useless warrior. The two people should be of the same height and power level.

Earring Fusion (Potarri) :
THis fusion occurs when two people wear the special potarri earrings on opposing ears. The earrings belong to the kaiohshins, and this fusion is suppose to last forever! Vegeta and Goku are the only people in DBZ who use these rings, and they became Vegetto.
Piccolo fused with Nail and Kami . In both fusions Piccolo supposedly got a boost of power from the internally fused Nameks.
