Bulma is the daughter of Dr.Briefs. She is a scientific genius, but is pretty much useless during the entire show. She is used for retardation purposes in DBZ.
This is the OX King. He too is used for retardation purposes on the show. He is Chi Chi's father and is not an important person on the show

OOlong and Puar : These guys are also used to stall the action in the show. They are annoying after a while, and you just want to ignore them
This is Goku's wife, Chi Chi. She like everyone else is used for retardation purposes in the DBZ series
Chaozu: He is one of the Crane master's students. He and Tien are great friend. Chaozu has great psychic powers, but this guy is one pathetic fighter. They basically got rid of this character as the series went on. Thats why he looks so mad in this picture :)
Master Roshie: He also is used for comic relief I suppose. They show him once and a while, but thats it. Him and King Khai become major sources of action breaks between battles.
You may be wondering by now why I always use this picture. Well this picture perfectly portrays Yajirobe. That is why. Yajirobe hits Vegeta on the back with his sword, cuts off Vegeta's tail, talks big, and acts like a wuss during the DBZ series.
Dende : This little Namek basically tells the DBZ cast everything they need to know about Planet Namek. He also has the ability to heal. Cool little kid.
Kami & Mr. PoPo: PoPo shows Bulma the old Namek ship, and also gets the earth's Dragon Ball's. during DBZ. Kame dies, thats about it Ha ha ha. He dies because Piccolo dies.
