Produce Sitting Out 2005

April 14 , 2005- This past week, Chris of the Farms Produce announced that he will not be able to field his team in during the 2005 season. This news comes after a long off season of discussion with the Produce franchise.

Commissoner Kenny says, "Me and Chris knew this was a very realistic possiblity to occur. But the man is going to be busy. Its commendable that he doesn't commit to playing when he knows he will be unable to. We can't wait for the Produce to come back in 2006 and go for the BFL Bowl IX championship!"

Chris posted on the BFL message board the following comments regarding his hectic summer. "Its probably going to be the worst summer ever. I'm pretty sure there isn't going to be time for the BFL this year, especially if im living down at school."

During Chris's inagural season, the Produce finished 0-3.

In regards to the Produce coming back in 2006, Chris said, "Yeah, I'll be back next year with a vengance tho so watch out!"

In the mean time, the BFL signed, Pete K. from Heightstown to fill the 12th spot for the 2005 season. Further information on Pete's team name and information will be posted next week. He will take over the Produce schedule.
