Akil is the second expansion team to start off 1-0 in 2005, with his victory over the Chill.

Hustlers Impress With Big Win Over The Chill

May 19 , 2005- Two nights ago, the Hustlers (1-0) and Chill (0-1) both competed in thier first ever game. It was the Hustlers, however that came out with an impressive victory.

Akil, lead by argualbly the best defensive coverage in the league got off to a 14-0 start stopping Pete his first two drives. Akil also scored an interception, and had a total of 3 defensive stops.

By Half time, the Chill were trailing 42-21 and the game seemed pretty much decided. Akil showed great ball control and had some fantastic leaping catches aswell.

Pete's made many rookie mistakes throughout the game, including dropped passes. Dispite the loss, 82-52, the Chill remain optomistic about thier season.

Akil, is proved that he is an instant condender to win BFL Bowl VII, with this great win.

Notes:
-This is the first time two expansion teams faced off in their first game since 2001, Gamblers vs. Crusaders.
-Both teams had 1 field goal.
