19 , 2005- In an exciting BFL game, the Black Knights (1-0) were
able avenge their semi final loss last season to the Sparrows (0-1)
by beating them in their openers.
At
the half, the Sparrows lead 24-21. Ken then picked off an Akil pass
to take an eventual 33-21 lead and being in good shape to win the
game. But John answered right back scoring 23 unanswered points
with an intercpetion and a defensive stop.
John
would then drive the ball at the end to waist most of the remaining
time. Ken would socre as time expired but did not have a chance
at an onside throw.
Notes:
-John is now 6-0 in opening games all time.
-The Black Knights took the lead in their all time series 2-1-2
-Last season, Ken started off 0-1 and still made it to the post
season
-Both teams lead by double digits at one point
