Fear Are In!
June 19, 2005- Last year, the Bulldogs came into the season as one
of the least succesful franchises, but turned it around to make
the playoffs and end up in BFL Bowl VII. This year, historically
unsuccessful team on a role is the Fear (2-0). The same Fear team
that won a single game in the past three seasons, has finally etched
himself a ticket to the post season with a 2-0 record by beating
the rookie Chill (0-2).
This season, Sean has gotten all the right bounces and has certainly
played his best football. In his win over the Chill, he scored 76
points in root to an 18 point win. After the Chill took a 14-7 lead,
the Fear answered back with a touchdown, a defensive stop, followed
by another touchdown.
However, Pete fought right back into the game scoring an interception
off of quarterback Jason D. But as Pete gained control of the ball,
Sean stripped it out of Pete's hands to get it right back.
At the half, the Fear held a 37-30 lead. Sean would later go up
44-30 with an opening half touchdown.
On two 2nd half touchdowns, the Chill would not be able to hold
onto the ball losing possession on both fumbles. Pete set a record
by losing 3 in all.
The Fear contiune their dream season with a 76-58 victory.
Notes:
-The Fear set a record for most fumble recoveries with 3 in a game.
-This is the first time Sean has started off 2-0, it is also his
first multi win season ever, and he clinched his first ever post
season birth.
-The Chill fall to 0-2 and will meet the 0-2 Dragons in thier final
game.
