    MALAYSIAN SANGHA FUND

    The fund is set up by the Young Buddhist Foundation of Malaysia (Yayasan Belia Buddhist Malaysia) to offer medical assistance, scholarship and requisites to members of the sangha in need of help.     BUDDHIST EDUCATION IN CHINESE
     

  • Malaysian Buddhist Institute, 182, Burmah Road, 10050 Penang, conducts full time and correspondence courses on Mahayana teachings.
  • Hoong Chuang Buddhist Institute in York Road, Penang conduct partime and short courses on Mahayana teachings.
  • Dong Zen Institute of Buddhist Studies in Selangor conducts full time courses on Mahayana teachings. It is closely associated with the Fo Kuang San Buddhist Temple in Taiwan. Graduates from the Dong Zen Institute of Buddhist Studies will be offered opportunities and financial aids to further their studies in Taiwan. Tel. 03-8684304 or 03-7776533.

    BUDDHIST EDUCATION IN ENGLISH
     

  • Than Hsiang Temple, Bayan Baru, Penang, conducts partime courses leading to (1) Diploma In Buddhism, (2) B.A. General Degree in Buddhist Studies and (3) Postgraduate Diploma in Buddhist Studies.
