Friday, September 09, 1887

I started for Minneapolis, got there at 10:30. Went to find

Charley Hubbard but he was gone to Dakota. Went and saw

Elios Hubbard... had not saw him for ten years. Then went

down to Mrs. Pearsons then to Belles home. [ Belle and I had

two long talks - But we never mentioned old times They are

not perfectly happy ] Her husband would not let me go so I

stayed there. Went to the Exposition on Saturday for the first

time. Sunday went to church Monday went to the War

Panorama, Battle of Atlanta. Tuesday went to the fair. Wed I

left Belle's home and went to Elias Hubbard's house and

stayed there all night. Thursday went to Fentons Museum and

Exposition. Met Kate at depot. Started for home at 6:30.

Had a good time. This is the longest time I have ever been in

the city.
