I sent four valentines to the following persons, to Miss Laura

L. Hurt, Miss Mary E. Hurt, Miss Etta M. Edwards, and Miss

Lizzie Warner, these are the first ones that I ever sent.

Thursday, February 28, 1889

I went down to Mr. Tripps to a dance had a very nice time

danced with Laura Hurt for the first time went down to Harts

and staid all day had not been there for along time went up to

the candy pull at Ed Merrys. had a nice time, went up with

Hurts and staid over night with Jimmy and Henery. the next

morning Laura asked me to go with her and Lizzie over to get

George at Mr. Latterells, I excepted, had lots of fun going

over. had dinner, got George and come home, snow about

all gone, stopped at Fraley and got some candy and nuts. I

sat with Lizzie coning back. I was teasing her all the time.

had lots of fun. I got home at 7:30 P.M.

Fulton? or Felton? It

Hilda and Felton came home on a visit. they took us by

certainly looks like

surprise, as we did not expect them until next fall we were all

Felton in this entry.

glad to see them.

Fulton.
