Mary and I went over to Bill Larsons to a dance and who
should be there but Belle Thompson and Jammie Pearson.
they were both glad to see us. I danced with Belle and ate
supper with her, and the water was all gone, so her and I went
and got some she told me that her and Frank argued and
that she was not happy, and that the time she was up here
was the happiest time of her life, we talked of old times and it
seemed so natural to be with her again poor woman! I feel
sorry for her and if I could help I would. I could hardly resist
the temptation to taking her in my arms and kissing her as of
old. It seems that about every time that I think I have forgot
her, she crosses my path and every remembrance comes
rushing back again.
