Sunday, April 14, 1889

Jennie Pearson came over here and applied for our school,

which we promised her, this is the first time in 4 1/2 years that

she has been here.

Tuesday, April 16, 1889

I went to St. Cloud last night saw Charlie Hubbard on the

street got him to go up to Sauk Rapids with me then went up

to his house, saw Lizzie Warner She seemed very glad to

see me they had a dance there that night. I danced with her

the first set. I ask her the next day if she got my letter she

said she did but would not say why she did not answer it. I

stopped in and saw Laura [ she was visiting in town ] a few

minutes she was ?? for me to ?? [ She was awful pleasant ]

Came home Thursday.
