I got my first tooth pulled today. It was the back tooth on the

lower left side. I would sooner have paid ten dollars than lost

it.

Admiral D.D. Porter died at Washington

General W. F. Sherman died in N.Y. City, so passes away the

last of the great Generals of the Civil War.

Wednesday, February 18, 1891

Gen H.H. Libley died at ?? he was the first J of the peace

ever made in Minn. he was the first delegate from the

territory to Congress and When Minn became a state he was

the first Governor.

Ralph Shull and me sent for an outfit to exhibit real war

scenes. It cost $95.67 apiece.

Tuesday, March 10, 1891

I was chosen moderator at the annual town meeting this is the

first large public meeting that I ever presided over, I made it

a success.
