Wednesday, 29 March 2000: I apologise sincerely for the lack of updates recently. Unfortunately health and technically difficults prevented updates. My computer crashed and 5/6 of memory (in my f-harddrive) reserved for the "dedication" has been LOST (I'm still trying to recover them)! Also I can neither read nor send wires via flash.net email address. For any contact, please use my emergency email at escottish140@hotmail.com. Only very minor upgrading can be done until my f-drive is restored. Updates have occured only in Memorabilia Brettiana, Publicationa Brettiana, Societia Brettiana (updated infomation on the JBSF at last), and Bibliographies.THE NEWS: The brothers are together. British actor Mr Charles Gray died on Tuesday, 07 March 2000 in a London hostipal, succumbing to his long suffering throat cancer. He starred in numerous roles including Ernst Stavro Blofeld from Diamonds are Forever and Granada's elder brother of Sherlock Holmes, Mycroft. He was 71. Thanks to Brettians like you upon responding to the DVD email campaign! Accordingly this fall, MPI Video (the provider of JB as SH videos) will be releasing the first four episodes of the Granada SH series on DVD!!! Thank you for making noise, you know who you are! Email thank yous to MPI staff at natalie@mpimedia.com or robert@mpimedia.com. We are sending securing the memory of Jeremy Brett to the next generation. Cotterman, Séverine of the JBSF, and Linda Pritchard.
Thursday, 06 January 2000: Happy new year and happy 146th birthday to everyone's favourite consulting detective, Sherlock Holmes! That is if 1854 is correct year. According to the majority, it is, though I personally argue it.
Many thanks to Mia Stampe of Denmark, Nancy Beiman [aka: The Redheaded League - I wish her the best of health and recovery], Midden, Linda Pritchard (Yay!), and a small group of anonymous Brettians which I inquired their trusted advice (you know who you are) for this month's update. Thank you everyone!A special little section has been newly created for this day, Influencing Those Inspired Illustrators, which gives a glimpse of the Brettish influence to literature! A new spoof for the ever popular Unexpected Vein of Pawky Humour (a "Think Different" SH poster). The "dedication" has required some rare photographs this month: 1 in Theatre, 1 in Films & Television, 2 in Portraits and Publicity, 7 unique in His True Self -- Jeremy Huggins, 1 (in which I regetfully forgotten to add last month) in Pinacotheca Sherlockiana: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, and 6 in Artistry. Updates in Memorabilia Brettiana, Publicationa Brettiana [especially look at the new list of Spoken Word and Audiobooks], and Radio & Audio. Minor changes in Paraphernalia Brettiana de Exotica, Biography Introduction, Biography: Theatre, Biography: Films & Television, Pinacotheca Sherlockiana Introduction, Societia Brettiana, Bibliographies, and Special Thanks & Acknowledgements. Do you want Granada series to take steps to the new millennium? The editor has been, for months, trying to convice the Vice-President of MPI Video (the provider of JB as SH videos), Mr Robert Scott, to consider starting a production of DVD formats of the series. To help, contact Mr Scott via email at robert@mpimedia.com. A&E is still aires the series, however they may be daring to cancel the series off-and-on; at the moment, it's off, please help Sherlock return from another Reichenbach, voice yourself at the AandE.com feedback. Also interested in a JB A&E Biography? Place the suggestion to Biography.com feedback. Make noise. Be heard. Make a difference.

That's 20 with 42 years of experience; so happy birthday, Jeremy!!! Let's sing!! In celebration of Jeremy's 66th day of birth, 35 new wav files in Phonotheca Brettiana: War & Peace and "The Solitary Cyclist" from "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes". Thursday, 21 October 1999: Well, I had some difficulty in today's update sue to the fact that my connection went on the "fritz," so I apologise to those whom entered when the Main Page noted updating though the all the other pages were unprepared. Sincere apologise for that, I typing now at 4:00 AM to fix the errors created. Also I have been greatly dragged down with school, so I will answer your wires as soon as I can! Thank you for your patience. Now to the updates! 3 new pictures in Theatre, 1 new in Films & Television, 3 new in His True Self -- Jeremy Huggins, and 9 new Artistry, which is now in two pages and includes linkage to Rachael Patton's new JB website, A Monument to Jeremy Brett -- beautiful tribute! Also updated information added in Memorabilia Brettiana, Publicationa Brettiana, and Paraphernalia Brettiana de Exotica. Paraphernalia Brettiana de Exotica (listing of JB memorabilia in non-english) has information retaining the new JB as SH graphic novel spoof, "Baker Street T1: Sherlock Holmes n'a peur de rien", by Pierre Veys and Nicholas Barral. I had a recent wire from Rupert Books that the new book by Michael Cox, producer of the Granada series, "A Study in Celluloid: A Producer's Account of Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes", will be book launching on Wednesday, 01 December, at Murder One in London. Our two Watsons, David Burke and Edward Hardwicke are expected to attend (HEY-HEY!), as are members of the Granada Television production team. Special thanks to The Redheaded League, Louise, and R. Dixon Smith of Rupert Books for their contributions. Minor addition to Bibliographies (now 2 pages) and Special Thanks & Acknowledgements. Check back on 03 November for a modest birthday tribute to JB!
Tuesday, 21 September 1999: Midden, our benefactor, is feeling better accordingly and has changed her email address, thus any section with her link to her former address has been changed, but the revision dates have not changes because the main contents have never yet been editted -- unless addressed otherwise. I wish her the best of health and courage! New information added in Memorabilia Brettiana and Publicationa Brettiana, plus the dead links of particular proveyors should be fixed. A revision upon one artwork by Rachael Patton in Artistry, plus a new image from As You Like It and five revised pictures from The Secret of Sherlock Holmes in Theatre. These revisions are to make particular images larger and better detailed than they were formerly. Minor addition to Bibliographies. Also little updates in the Biography lists. And if you can tell What's New! has been divided into yearly sections due to over-content.
Sunday, 12 September 1999: Upon the fourth year of this saddening day did he passed away, let the candles burn in memoriam of a wonderful person and friend to thousands, the late and beloved Mr Jeremy Brett. Darling, we miss you dearly. These candles plan to remain here until after the update on 3rd November, Jeremy's Birthday.September seems to be bustling for Baker Street this year (see previous update) so in tribute to this and in loving memory to an actor whom portrayed him, the "dedication" presents Pinacotheca Sherlockiana with 50 images in the new sections: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Portraits and Publicity. Plus a NEW quote upon the In Memoriam... plaque. Three new artworks by Rachael Patton included in Artistry. Minor addition to Bibliographies.
