St. James members help out a number of needy families by providing
baskets of presents each Christmas. A paper Christmas tree is
put on a poster in the narthex, with each paper ornament
representing a needy family and giving the names of each family
member and the age of the children. Members select an ornament
and provide the gifts for that family. Our junior youth also take
part in this project and as a group will go out and buy presents for
a number of families.
Packages are then collected one Sunday and then delivered with
the help of our senior youth and adult volunteers.
