Contemporary Worship at St. James
"Where two or three gather in my name, I am there among them."

St. James offers frequent worship services in a more contemporary format. These
services feature ensemble accompaniment by the "house band" Damascus Road
(since 1990). While the songs are of a more popular
music vein, every effort is made to select singable, topical, and spiritual songs
that are easy to learn. You'll also find that our musical arrangement of the Lord's
Prayer is one of the most moving and memorable you'll ever hear.

Contemporary services are offered every month on the second Sunday
and fourth Sunday at 10:45 a.m. During the summer months (June through August), contemporary services are
held every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m., following a pot-luck barbecue at 6:00 p.m.
