Traditional Worship at St. James
"Where two or three gather in my name, I am there among them."
|
St. James offers weekly worship services in a traditional format. These services
follow one of the settings in the Lutheran Book of Worship, published by
Augsburg Fortress, and are accompanied by organ. While many of the hymns played are
old Lutheran favorites, we at St. James also work hard to present singable,
spiritual hymns that may be less familiar to some and more familiar to others. It is
also common to hear special sacred music by one of our choirs, bell choirs, brass
ensemble, and guest musicians.
