To get to St. James from the north near route 41 and east, take Highway 41 south to IL 176. The off-ramp is very short, so
as soon as you see the "IL 176 1/4 mile" sign, slow down. The off-ramp curves to the left. At the
stoplight, turn right. Go past Shephard Chevrolet and the
Dominic's strip mall to the next
stoplight, which is IL 43 (Waukegan Road). Turn left. St. James is approximately 1 mile on the right,
shortly after a gentle right-hand curve in the road.
If coming from more west such as the Tri-State, exit route 137.
Make a left to IL 43 (Waukegan Road), which is at the eastern edge
of the Abbott Labs facility. Make a right and continue past
route 176. St. James is approximately 1 mile on the right,
shortly after a gentle right-hand curve in the road.
