1: Why a hypertext for the Worldwide Forum on Mediation

This is not a finished work -if there is ever such a thing. To be more accurate, this is a work that is born with the goal of being a trial structure in order to create an environment of which all mediators interested in mediation in family disputes could make use and which we could nurture with our experiences, practices, techniques, etc.

The meeting of the Worldwide Forum on Mediation has the virtue of gathering mediators from many different parts of the world, it gives us the chance of sharing experiences, of comparing them and establishing similarities and differences and of analizing our own activity.

The hypertext gives us the possibility of having all this information in a single environment and of increasingly adding the new one as it happens, without the need of leaving the former behind.

It is absolutely post-modernist, no concept is taken as absolute truth. Contradictory and complementing ideas can live together in it, in a whole that fits the "reality" of today's world, a whole that accounts for different theories, models, etc., which are successfully applied to Family Mediation.
