SPEAKERS’ PROPOSALS

Proposals may either be individual or in groups

Individual proposals:

Communications (should not exceed 10 minutes)
Papers (should not exceed 20 minutes, of which 15 minutes are allowed for the speaker and 5 minutes for discussion)
Work-shops (will impart specific notions focussing detailed attention on a topic or argument) require a project with the approach taken and/or practical cases and they may not exceed 2 hours.

Group proposals:

Symposia
Round tables
Work-shops

Objectives must be specified and information should be made available on each participant along with a descriptive summary of the presentation.
In relation to the number of participants, the work will last between 2 and 3 hours, with individual presentations of 15 minutes followed by a brief discussion.

Those participating in symposia and round tables must indicate the topic, 5 or 6 participants, a chairman and a co-ordinator.

Posters (may be individual or group work); in the latter case these proposals must indicate a co-ordinator, at least 5 presentations and a chairman; in addition, at the beginning of each session, the authors will present a short oral summary (10 minutes) because ample space will be reserved to the observations of the public.

All speakers, both individual or in groups, should send a written abstract of their proposals by 20 January 2000, if possible by e-mail (software Word 6.0 or compatible system). The abstract should be no more than 20 lines and should also provide the title, five key words, the language in which the proposed paper is to be presented and how long the paper will last.
