Pieta in Florence Caravaggio's Sacrifice of Isaac

There are many other artists we enjoyed, especially those from the Early Renaissance. The frescos by Fra Angelico (be sure to click on the pictures to see the beautiful reproductions at that site!) and the statue by Giambologna are worth viewing. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a decent reproduction of my favorite by Leonardo da Vinci, a painting in the Uffizi of The Holy Family showing St. Anne with Mary and the Infant. In his painting you can feel a cascade of maternal nurture pouring from one generation to the other.
