Quebrada Quintero (low path) - Details 3

When you turn north...

First fallThe first thing you'll see are remains of a house, at left, very close to creek. The most remarkable thing is its red floor.

Inmediately after, the road goes on tiles until you get to first fall. At your right lies a small and very step track. Don't take it.

Twisted roots treeIf you turn your head to left, at the other bank of creek, you'll notice a big rock with a tree attached to it. The twisted roots of this tree will help you to get up.

Keep in mind that those roots are very polished by all previous trekkers along years. Watch up!.

The road behind youWhen you climb the tree and look backwards, this is the view of the road behind you.

Second fall

Few meters ahead you'll get to second fall. Keep your left and climb the rocks at that side.

Pay attention, because they are very slipery. If it is raining, I advise you to abort the stroll.

Fourth fallThe third fall is also very close. There are to routes to pass it, but I think the one at right is harder, so stay at left.

Do you want a map of this path?... so click here!.

The fourth fall is also flank at left by slippery rocks that you should climb. When it is done, you're almost at the end: Just few dozens meters away is Quebrada Quintero's main fall and the high road.

If you walk to the big fall, you'll see it forms a natural anphitheater, and at the opposite side of it exists a trail that climbs through rocks. That is the old path to get to the top of this fall, but it is now forbidden because of it is dangerous. If you want to get beyond the fall, you should take another path.
