Certainly, you are important. Make no doubt about that. None of us is in any position by any stretch where the Universe revolves around us. It just doesn't.

This is not a thing that is up to a whim or a once-a-week shot. This is a 24/7. The Magicks flow constantly. They don't take breaks. In order for them to take as good care of you as you do of them, they require the most solid commitment imaginable. Just like any good relationship.

No sitting around and talking things to death. If you do this, the Magicks have already flowed on to an entirely different direction by the time you get around to acting upon something.

It should be mentioned here that yes -- it is true that the Magicks can be summoned in proper fashion. Keep in mind that it is much easier on you and much easier on the Magicks if they can be both Tended and Tapped at the point when they can be the most effective.

Also known as 'tempered knowledge', you must know the who, what, where, why, when and how of the Magicks. This takes familiarity, because the Magicks interact with each of us differently. The only way to acquire this greatly needed Wisdom is to do all of the above. Do them so that you become more aware of the subleties...so that you become more familiar.
The Magicks exist to both help and to destroy. You must know the difference.
Wisdom exists within you, through your experiences, to let you know that difference.
